The church is seeking a talented person with a progressive vision to plan and lead our worship services. This person will also have primary responsibility for developing Bible study programs suitable for younger people and their parents, and to promote conditions and atmosphere within the church that will facilitate production of a new generation of disciples. Our congregation has five elders, a preaching minister, three deacons and a deaconess. This is a congregation with the capacity to financially, emotionally, and spiritually support a minister desiring to come to our community to share in the work and growth of our congregation.
The ideal candidate will have an advanced degree in theology (MDiv, MA, etc.), although someone with an equivalent level of education and ministry experience may also be given serious consideration. The congregation would consider assisting an outstanding candidate currently pursuing an advanced academic degree in theology or a related field with financial and other assistance toward completing their program of study. Salary and compensation will be commensurate with education and experience.
